What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, message our Facebook Page, or fill in one of our Facebook or Instagram lead forms, we may collect:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your business name, trade or type of business
- Your answers to our questions, such as whether you already have a website and the best time to call
- Anything else you choose to tell us in your message
If you become a client, we also keep the details needed to build and manage your website, and to invoice you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and call you back, at your request (taking steps before a contract)
- To build, host and support your website if you become a client (performing our contract with you)
- To keep business and tax records (legal obligation)
We do not sell your data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your permission.
Who we share it with
We only share data with service providers we need to run the business:
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram), when you contact us or fill in a lead form there
- Google, which provides our email
- Netlify, which hosts this website and its enquiry form
Some of these providers may process data outside the EU. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved under EU data protection law.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to work: up to 12 months, then deleted
- Client records and invoices: 6 years, as required for Irish tax purposes
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to give you a copy of it. Email us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
